Record your first ride
Start free riding straight away, or choose a destination before you set off.
- 01Open Ride
Use the Ride tab and tap the location button to centre the map on you.
- 02Choose a route
Search for a place, tap directly on the map, or leave it on Free ride.
- 03Select your bike
Pick a bicycle from the panel. You can also ride without selecting one.
- 04Start and save
Tap Start ride. When you are done, choose Finish & save ride.

Allow precise location and locked-screen recording when Android asks, so the track stays complete while your phone is away.

Do I need a VeloForth account?+
No. There is no end-user account, VeloForth backend, analytics profile, or cloud ride library to set up.
What keeps working offline?+
Ride recording, your history, bicycles, saved places, recent destinations, and downloaded map and routing regions. New online place-search results need a validated internet connection.
Can I create an offline route anywhere?+
On-device routing needs completed routing coverage around both endpoints. If data is missing, VeloForth keeps your last valid route instead of drawing a misleading straight line.
Where is my ride data stored?+
Rides, bikes, saved places, route drafts, and offline-region details live in VeloForth’s private storage on your Android device.
